15 camels killed by cargo train in Saudi

Driver says he was caught off guard by camels

A cargo train in Saudi Arabia ploughed through 15 camels trying to cross the rail line in the Gulf kingdom without their owner.

Newspapers said the train driver told his managers that he was caught off guard when he came face to face with the camels on the rail in the Central Al Qasseem province.

“He said that he could not stop the train because the camels were too close,” Ajel daily said, adding that all 15 camels were killed in the accident.
