DUBAI 10 September 2019: Fifteen students and three supervisors were injured in a traffic accident in Dubai yesterday morning.
The accident took place on Business Bay Crossing and involved a bus from Our Own English High School – -Al Warqa’a and a water tanker.
The crash, which looks horrific, resulted in minor injuries to 15 pupils and 2 supervisors. However, one of the bus supervisors received moderate injuries. The tanker driver sustained moderate injuries. All transferred to Rashid Hospital

Brigadier Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Director of Traffic Department at Dubai Police, said that preliminary information indicates that the cause of the accident was due to not leaving enough distance between the two vehicles.
An investigation is underway to find out the causes of the accident.
He added that the accident caused traffic congestion on the bridge of Business Bay.
