2nd Pakistan Property Exhibition to be held in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec) is set to host the second Pakistan Property Exhibition at the eighth edition of the International Real Estate & Investment Show (IREIS 2016), highlighting key real estate investment opportunities in Pakistan and facilitating the investment of the UAE-based non-resident Pakistanis (NRPs) in the bourgeoning real estate market back home.

The only real estate event in Abu Dhabi that targets investors and consumers rather than trade visitors, IREIS 2016 is set to run from 27 – 29 October, 2016 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec).

Drawing the support of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the UAE, Pakistan Ministry of Housing and Works and Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD), the Pakistan Property Exhibition will convene leading developers and agents from major cities including Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Multan, Peshawar, Bahawalpur, Quetta and Gawadar, among others.

Professionals and property consultants will also be at hand to provide NRPs with expert advice and detailed information on transaction procedures from sales to registration, in addition to highlighting the current market trends, opportunities and challenges in the market. The companies that have confirmed their participation in the event include Star Marketing, Value Marketing, G Marketing, Midas and Construction Star.

Antoine Georges, Managing Director, DOME Exhibitions, said: “We are delighted to host the second edition of Pakistan Property Exhibition as part of IREIS 2016. In bringing together the leading developers and agents from major cities of Pakistan under one roof, we seek to help the Pakistani community living in the UAE to find the right investment opportunity at the right place.”

He added: “To help visitors choose their dream homes according to their budgets, we have ensured the presence of a wide range of builders and developers offering projects that meet the requirements of both middle- and upper-middle-income home buyers. Additionally, the event will offer an unparalleled opportunity to discuss the design, material and the architectural details of the projects on display.”

The value of Pakistan real estate market is estimated to range from US$200 billion to US$400 billion, with overseas Pakistanis investing approximately nearly US$3 billion — or 15 to 20 per cent of the last fiscal year’s total remittances — into the real estate market.

The upcoming edition of the International Real Estate & Investment Show is expected to draw the participation of more than 125 exhibitors from 25 countries, as well as over 11,000 regular, private and institutional investors, end-users, developers, and real estate brokers.

As part of the event agenda, IREIS 2016 will `host an International Developer Agent Meet, an intensive day of carefully coordinated one-to-one meetings and informal networking sessions to showcase international property projects and facilitate partnerships between foreign property suppliers and local agents in the Middle East market. IREIS 2016 will in addition, include country-specific presentations, business networking opportunities and investor meetings. The event will also feature dedicated country pavilions of Spain, Turkey, Egypt, Pakistan, India and the Philippines.

Drawing the participation of 84 exhibitors from 21 countries and 7,327 investors across 71 nationalities, IREIS 2015 created sales volumes of over US$125 million.
