Mosque Shootings: Darkest hour for New Zealand, says Premier

DUBAI 16 March 2019: Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said it was “one of New Zealand’s darkest days”.

Eyewitness described people fleeing in terror as a gunman open fired at the Al Noor and, Linwood mosques’ in New Zealand on Friday night. Authority’s have urged citizens to stay away from mosques and to keep their doors closed.  Following the attacks, police defused a number of IED’s (improvised explosive devices) and currently have four suspects in custody.
