8 Dubai cop services you can now do ‘only’ via Internet

DUBAI 25 March 2019: The Dubai Police General Command has announced that it will stop providing 8 traffic services at its service centers from the end of this month. These services can now only be accessed from April via the Internet and smart applications.

The affected services are:

  1. Request a traffic accident report without injuries
  2. Request the issuance of a loss of traffic accident report
  3. Payment of traffic violations
  4. Request for payment of the amount of traffic violations (credit card)
  5. Anonymous
  6. Certificate of traffic clearance
  7. Traffic violations

More services to be shifted online: The next phase of traffic services to be stopped through the service centers will be in July next. These include four services, namely the request for smart reservation, request to pay a vehicle reservation allowance, request for payment of the amount of traffic violations (checks).

All the services that will be stopped are available on many of the smart channels provided by Dubai Police, whether online or smart services on mobile phones and touch devices available at malls and other public places in the country.

The percentage of smart and electronic services provided through the police website and smart applications exceeded 80% last year, indicating that the number of transactions provided by Dubai Police during the past year amounted to 2 million transactions.

The announcement of the suspension of the eight services was announced at a press conference held at the General Directorate of Traffic, in the presence of Brigadier General Sheikh Abdullah Al Mualla, Director General of Excellence and Entrepreneurship, Brigadier General Khalid Nasser Al Razzouqi, Director General of Artificial Intelligence, Brigadier Abdul Rahim Bin Shafi ‘ Al-Barsha Police, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Police Stations, Brig. Gen. Dr. Tarek Tahlak, Director of Naif Police Station, Colonel Juma Bin Suwaidan, Deputy Director General of Traffic Department and Major Majid Al-Bardan, Director of the Department of Excellencies in Public Administration for Excellence and Entrepreneurship.
