
Captain Anoud awarded by International Association of Chiefs of Police
DUBAI 11 October 2018: Expert Toxicologist and Chairwoman of Dubai Police Women Council for Community Happiness, Captain Anoud Al Saadi, has been awarded by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACAP).
The IACP ‘Under 40’ award programme is designed to recognise 40 individuals in law enforcement from the world over under the age of 40 who demonstrate leadership and commitment to the profession.
IACP had announced the 40 leaders selected for this year’s award. Chosen from a very competitive field of applicants by review panels composed of law enforcement executives, previous awardees, and international representatives, these individuals embody the qualities inherent in excellent law enforcement personnel and leaders.
Captain Anoud is the only Arab among the winners of the award, said Wam.
Major General Dr. Abdul Quddos Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidly, Assistant Commandant for Excellence and Pioneering at Dubai Police, congratulated Captain AlSaadi, and said that this remarkable achievement is a result of the policy adopted by Dubai Police to empower women and support them with all their scientific qualifications and leadership abilities.
“This is a true reflection of Dubai Police’s strategy of keeping with the state overall strategy of empowering women in all fields, praising their successes in various fields,” he added.
“This victory is an achievement for the leadership and for every Emirati woman,” Capt. Anoud said.
The award programme is a chance for law enforcement agencies to recognize the rising leaders within their agency who possess the leadership skills and dedication that is essential to lead law enforcement now and in the future.
