Abu Dhabi University to open new campus in Dubai

university has about 7,000 students from 70 nationalities

ABU DHABI 16 April 2017: Abu Dhabi University (ADU), plans to open a new campus in Dubai offering Master’s degree programmes in law, business and engineering.

The announcement was made during ADU’s participation at Gulf Education & Training Exhibition, Getex, the leading student recruitment event that’s currently underway in Dubai.

“The opening of our new campus in Dubai articulates the vision of the UAE’s wise leadership to galvanise efforts towards building a knowledge-based economy and foster a culture of innovation that ensures sustainable economic growth for future generations,” said Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, Chairman of Abu Dhabi University’s Executive Board.

“Achieving excellence and retaining the country’s top position in global competitiveness indicators necessitate delivering world-class higher education. Being ranked among the top 750 academic institutions worldwide as per Quacquarelli Symonds world university rankings, our multi-discipline academic programmes ensure that 90 per cent of our graduates secure a job opportunity within one year of their graduation,” Al Dhaheri said.

The university currently has about 7,000 students from 70 nationalities studying in its Abu Dhabi and Al Ain campuses.
