Adnoc opens 5 rebranded service stations in Sharjah

Adnoc Distribution has expanded its presence in Sharjah with the opening of five rebranded service stations as part of the Asset Transfer Agreement signed with ENOC in 2015. The total number of Adnoc service stations in the Emirate of Sharjah is 85. The five new service stations include Wasit-2, Al Rawdha, Al Deyar, Al Salamah and Al Buhaira.

The Wasit-2 service station is located on the intersection of Wasit Street and Sheikh Khaled bin Khaled Al Qassimi Street at Al-Ramtha area, while the Al Rawdha service station is located on the Industrial Road 3 opposite the Darari service station. The Deyar service station has commenced operations on Al Orouba Street and opposite to Al Khalidyia service station in Al Khan area. The Al Salamah service station operates in Al Ittihad Road before Al Khan Bridge, while Al Buhaira service station is located in Al Majaz area near Al Khaleej newspaper’s building.

The five service stations have been fully equipped to operate 24/7 and retail fuel to motorists, both Special 95 and Super 98, and ecofriendly diesel. Customers also have the advantage of attending to their shopping needs at the Adnoc Oasis stores.

The Al Rawdha, Al Deyar, and Wasit-2 stations offer their services through three islands and five pumps each, with the Wasit-2 station offering a car maintenance workshop in addition to automatic and manual car wash services that will be available to customers in the near future.

For its part, the Al Salamah station will provide fueling services to customers through three islands and six pumps, in addition to car wash and oil change services in the future. Offering fuel through three islands and five pumps, the Al Buhaira station will also add car wash and oil change services in the near future.

Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Adnoc Distribution, said: “We at Adnoc Distribution are keen to broaden our presence across the UAE as part of our commitment to providing seamless services to the largest possible customer base. This can be done either through building new service stations or re-operating current ones according to our agreement with ENOC.”

“Opening five rebranded stations is part of our recent announcement to provide additional service stations by the end of 2016. Our future expansion plans include making further stations and services available to our customers during 2017 and beyond.”

Development work on the five service stations included rebranding, infrastructure upgrades as per the company’s criteria, and enhancing health, safety and environment (HSE) standards.

By end of 2016, Adnoc Distribution will open six refurbished service stations in Sharjah, in addition to the newly constructed Al Maydan service station. This will take the total number of Adnoc Distribution service station to 92 by the end of this year.

Adnoc opens service station in UAQ

Adnoc Distribution today announced the opening of Al Hadeetha service station at Al Hamra area in the emirate of Umm Al Quwain. The new service station takes the total number of stations operating within the Adnoc Distribution network in Umm Al Quwain to 13.

Open round-the-clock, the new service station comprising four islands is fitted out with a total of eight fuelling pumps. Al Hadeetha service station retails fuels including E-Plus 91, Special 95, Super 98, and green diesel. The facility also aims to offer Natural Gas for Vehicles in the future.

The opening of the new service station is in line with Adnoc Distribution’s expansion strategy and corresponds to the UAE’s growing urbanisation and development.

Such geographical growth helps to meet the increasing demand for our high quality products and services throughout the UAE.

“In line with our ongoing expansion plans, we hope to increase the number of service stations within the Adnoc Distribution network to 460 by end-2017, including 23 new stations that will be officially opened before the end of 2016.”

The new station offers a diverse range of services, including oil change and car maintenance. Customers can also make their necessary retail purchases at the sprawling Adnoc Oasis store. For their added convenience, the Al Hadeetha service station features three fast food restaurants and an ATM machine.
