Atif Aslam to headline all-star cast for T10 opening

ABU DHABI 20  October 2019: Organisers have announced the glamorous feature entertainment for the Abu Dhabi T10 Opening Ceremony with big-name celebrities coming to the capital to perform in a night of spectacular entertainment.

The star-studded line-up features Pakistani musician Atif Aslam, Bollywood celebrity Nora Fatehi, south Indian model Parvati Nair and Bangladeshi actor Shakib Khan, with the evening being hosted by the Indian actor Hussain Kuwajerwala.

The opening ceremony slated for 14 November will light up Zayed Cricket Stadium with music, live dance and pyrotechnics that will appeal to audiences across the globe. The 3-hour extravaganza is expected to attract mass audiences, excited to witness the glitz and glamor of the Abu Dhabi T10 opening. The first toss of the tournament will be played the following day, with the Northern Warriors beginning their title defence against Maratha Arabians.

Atif Aslam expressed enthusiasm over his upcoming appearance at the Abu Dhabi T10 opening ceremony: “I’m super-excited about the opportunity to play in front of new fans in a fantastic host city like Abu Dhabi and I’m sure the Opening Ceremony will draw even more people to cricket and bring a higher value of entertainment to cricket fans.”

“We’ve brought in the top names in international cricket and added a galaxy of headline performers to kick things off. By fusing the best of global music and sport, we are continually adding entertainment value to offer a robust tourism package for inbound fans and tourists.”

With Team Abu Dhabi confirmed as the final team in the Abu Dhabi T10, and the Player’s Draft having been completed on the evening of 16 October, anticipation is skyrocketing for the upcoming cricket championship in Abu Dhabi.
