MANAMA, Bahrain April 1: The 2019 Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix has been swept by the Mercedes Petronas team with Lewis Hamilton winning the top spot on the podium and the second going to teammate Valtteri Bottas. Charles Leclerc from the Scuderia Ferrari team cane in third.
The winners were awarded by Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, said Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
He noted that since the F1 first arrived in Bahrain in 2004, the race has grown from strength to strength.
