You can now link your fire alarm to Civil Defence

MoI launches online fire alarm application service

ABU DHABI 25 January 2018: UAE residents can apply to install fire alarm systems in residences and link them with the Civil Defence’s operations rooms.

The move is in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Ministry of Interior said, reported Wam.

Applications for the service can now be made through the ministry’s website, www.moi.gov.ae. Once an application is submitted, the applicant will be contacted by the suppliers of the system for installation.

Under the directives of Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, the ministry started linking homes and villas with its operations rooms, following the technical solution provided by the higher committee tasked with the project.

The system is a self-operated and easily installed smoke detection sensor, with a voice alarm for the quick evacuation of residents.

Fujairah Ruler offers condolences on death of sons of Saeed Al Sreidi

FUJAIRAH: H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, accompanied by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, offered earlier his condolences to Saeed Al Sreidi over the death of seven Emirati children in a fire that broke out in their home in Fujairah on Monday morning.

While visiting the Mourning Majlis in Fujairah, Sheikh Hamad expressed his heartfelt condolences to their family. He also prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest their souls in Paradise, and to grant patience and solace to the family.

A number of officials also offered condolences along with Sheikh Hamad.

Saif bin Zayed offers condolences on death of seven children in Fujairah

While visiting the Mourning Majlis in Dadna area in Fujairah, Sheikh Saif expressed his heartfelt condolences, prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest their souls in Paradise, and to grant patience and solace to their family.

Hamdan visits family who lost seven children in house fire

DUBAI: Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, visited a mourning majlis in Rol Dhadna in Fujairah to offer condolences after the tragic death of seven siblings from Al Suraidi family in a house fire on Monday.

While visiting the mourning majlis, Sheikh Hamdan expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased. He also prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest his soul in peace.
