Canada fights back in the U.S trade dispute

DUBAI 3 July 2018: Chrystia Freeland, Canadian minister of foreign affairs, called the US decision to slap tariffs against Canada on national security grounds “absurd” and that Canada was going forward with about $12.6B worth of retaliatory tariffs on U.S. goods  “more in sorrow than in anger”. The nation joins it’s allies in striking back in the escalating trade dispute.
