DUBAI 25 October 2020: Careem has announced reduced fares on Max rides in Dubai in an effort to help residents across the emirate book affordable, comfortable and safe rides when travelling in a group.
Careem Max is the only ride option that allows for more than two passengers at a time. The Max rides host up to four passengers and now boast a minimum fare slashed by 50 percent, with starting fares and waiting charges reduced by 30%.
Since the onset of Covid-19, Careem has implemented safety measures to ensure all services are operating at the highest sanitary levels, including equipping all Careem Captains with masks, sanitizers and disinfectant wipes. The Careem Max rides are a continuation of this service and reinforce Careem’s mission to simplify and improve the lives of people in the community.
Furthermore, regardless of the discount, customers of Careem are still able to reap the benefits of the rewards programme by collecting points on every ride.
