DUBAI 19 April 2019: Last weekend City Walk, the design-inspired open-air lifestyle neighbourhood by Meraas, kicked off its 10-day motoring show, ‘City Overdrive’.
Running until 20 April, the event is showcasing more than 80 unique custom-built cars, classic models, super cars, monster trucks and modified bikes.
This is more than just a display of some of the most awesome motors in the city. On 19 April, the urban destination will be hosting the ‘City Overdrive’ party, featuring high-powered car competitions, remote control car races, a talented car grafitti artist, the Red Bull DJ Truck, and Virgin Radio presenter Big Rossi, who will be running competitions and giving away a bunch of cool prizes to visitors.
Showstoppers that are sure to get hearts racing this year include the Toyota Supra and EVO from ‘The Fast and the Furious’ movies, which have been rebuilt in memory of Paul Walker, as well as the KUHL Racing show cars, a trio made up of the Nissan GT-R R35, Toyota 86 and Nissan Patrol. These three souped-up motors feature custom-designed body kits, air-powered suspensions, and some pretty awesome paint jobs.
