3,093 new covid cases, 4,678 recoveries, 7 deaths

ABU DHABI 8 February 2021: ‌‌‏The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) conducted 192,241 additional Covid-19 tests, and announced 3,093 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 326,495.

‌‌‏MoHAP also announced 7 deaths due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 921.

‌‌‏The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wisheovid-19 patients a speedy and full recovery. It called on all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all.

‌‌‏MoHAP also noted that an additional 4,678 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 305,759.

MoHAP also announced that 112,521 more doses of the Covid-19 vaccine were given.

The total number of doses provided stands at 4,313,868 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 43.62 doses per 100 people.
