3,167 new covid cases, 5,059 recoveries, 13 deaths

ABU DHABI 15 February 2021: The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) conducted 207,432 additional Covid-19 tests and announced 3,167 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 348,772.

MoHAP also announced 13 deaths due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1,014.

The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished Covid-19 patients a speedy and full recovery. It called on all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all, said Wam.

MoHAP also noted that an additional 5,059 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 331,839.

The ministry also announced that 49,967 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine were given.

The total number of doses provided stands at 5,055,231 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 51.11 doses per 100 people.
