3,452 new cases, 3,570 recoveries, 14 deaths

ABU DHABI 18 February 2021: The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) conducted 185,502 additional Covid-19 tests, and announced 3,452 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 358,583.

MoHAP also announced 14 deaths due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1,055.

The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished Covid-19 patients a speedy and full recovery. It called on all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all, said Wam.

MoHAP also noted that an additional 3,570 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 343,935.

The total number of vaccine doses provided stands at 5,284,406 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 53.43 doses per 100 people.
