UAE Covid Update: 70% people got a vaccine dose

ABU DHABI 19 March 2021: The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) conducted 198,328 additional Covid-19 tests, and announced 2,101 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 434,465.

‏MoHAP also announced 10 deaths due to complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1,424.

‏The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished Covid-19 patients a speedy and full recovery. It called on all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all all.

‏MoHAP also noted that an additional 2,628 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 416,105.

The total number of vaccine doses provided stands at 6,980,466 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 70.58 doses per 100 people.
