Covid Update: 1,813 new cases and 2 more deaths

DUBAI 26 April 2021: The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced that 21,580 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were given in the past 24 hours.

The total number of doses provided up to today stands at 10,215,856 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 103.29 doses per 100 people.

MoHAP also announced that it conducted 205,321 additional COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours with 1,813 new coronavirus cases being found bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 510,738.

According to the Ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care.

Unfortunately, MoHAP also announced 2 deaths due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1,571 .

The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished COVID-19 patients a speedy and full recovery. It called on all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all.

MoHAP also noted that an additional 1,652 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 492,109.
