DUBAI 10 May 2019: DP World, one of the world’s largest port operators, said it has agreed to buy Canadian marine terminal Fraser Surrey Docks from a Macquarie Group fund.
Fraser Surrey Docks, with a 1,200-meter berth, is the largest modern, multi-purpose marine terminal on the West Coast of North America.
It has been serving Container, Breakbulk, Project Cargo, Forest Products and Bulk customers in the Port Metro Vancouver and around the world since 1962.
It is located in the greater Vancouver area of Surrey, British Columbia along the banks of the mighty Fraser River.
