DUBAI: The much-loved Smurfs, painted the town blue on Thursday with surprise appearances across Dubai to invite lucky families to the Middle East premiere of their new movie at Motiongate Dubai on 25th March.
Papa Smurf and Smurfette left their UAE home at The Smurfs Village in Motiongate Dubai and were seen giving tickets to amazed parents and children at locations including The Beach at JBR.
The premiere of ‘Smurfs: The Lost Village’ will be hosted in the blue celebrity’s official home in Motiongate Dubai, the Hollywood-inspired theme park, part of Dubai Parks and Resorts. For fans that missed the chance to meet their favourite characters in person, it’s not too late to win tickets to the Smurfy affair. Using the hashtag #Smurftastic, simply upload a selfie to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and tell which Smurf you best resemble for your chance to join them on the blue carpet.
Guests will not only be able to get a first look at the new movie, but go beyond the screen and step into the fantastical world of The Smurfs Village with its larger-than-life mushroom capped houses and lush forested surroundings. The resident Smurfs will charm their guests as they explore the variety of rides, live shows, play areas and dining on offer.
