DUBAI 10 June 2018: A video of police officers in Holland taking an ill women to hospital with some of them staying behind to cook supper for her five children is going popular on social media – but our own Dubai Police continues to be heroes on an everyday basis.

Imagine you’re driving your car and have a flat tyre in this heat during the middle of the day. Also, you are far from civilisation on your way to Hatta and there is no one to help you, especially if you’ve never change tyres before.

Then along comes a Dubai Police patrol car and the officers roll up their sleeves and get down to getting your car fixed – Godsend right?

That is exactly what police officers Alasmar Ibrahim Al Badwawi and Khalifa Muhammad Al Kaabi, did.

And, their work did not go unnoticed.

Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, recently honoured the police officers for their efforts and dedication.

He praised them for helping an Asian motorist by fixing his flat tyre on Hatta-Dubai Road.

Maj-Gen Marri presented a certificate of thanks and appreciation to Al Badwawi and Al Kaabi stressing that the honor comes in the framework of motivating and encouraging the employees of Dubai Police to exert more efforts in providing high quality services to the community.
