Dubai Land Department offers job vacancies and training courses

DUBAI 10 April 2017: Several Dubai government entities have come forward with job offers looking for the right talent – maybe you may be one of the people the may be looking for.

Dubai Land Department: DLD is participating in Carreers UAE Fair 2017 with the slogan – ‘Moving Towards a Successful Career’. It is providing free real estate scholarships for UAE nationals as well as a number of vacancies and training courses for young job seekers.

The fair is being held until 11th April under The Dubai Government Unified Platform at the Dubai World Trade Center.

DLD has announced many career vacancies in the legal, engineering and administrative fields through its application [http://dubaicareers.ae], which presents applicants with both job details and DLD’s profile.

“We are delighted to have welcomed such a huge number of visitors, who have all shown an interest in the diverse opportunities that DLD offers job seeking UAE youth. The number of applicants wishing to undertake the free real estate scholarships and training courses offered by the Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI) has been particularly high.

“DLD has once again proven to be one of the most popular governmental destinations for hopeful employees, as it provides an incentive environment for young UAE nationals informed by its support of the national agenda of the ‘The Emiratization Programme’,” said Fatima Buhannad, Director of the Human Resources Happiness Department at DLD.

UAE youth will have access to advanced real estate sector courses provided by DREI, the educational arm of DLD. DREI also announced that it is providing real estate scholarships for 20 to 25 applicants.

The list of programmes available to young job seekers includes the Real Estate Certified Diploma, Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Real Estate Rehabilitation for Residents. Three other courses open to applicants are Certified Real Estate Brokerage Management (CRB), Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS).

RTA introduces program to train graduates who are unemployed for one year

Kawther Kazim, Executive Director of Human Resources & Development at RTA’s Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector pointed out that RTA had introduced an initiative called ‘Empowerment with RTA,’ which is a 6-month training program that aims to train the UAE national university graduates who are unemployed for one year after their graduation.

They would be trained on work skills to prepare them for the work market. The graduates would be selected according to certain criteria. After finishing the training, they would meet with a number of RTA’s leaders to receive directives and pieces of advice that would enhance their career.

RTA’s stand in the event offers a diverse cast of vacancies in different fields including engineering, finance, investment, internal audit, administration, information systems, strategic planning as well as quality, health, safety and environment.

“Instant interviews were made for applicants by the respective directors during the exhibition period that accelerates the recruitment process. RTA is running Edaad (Grooming) program, which qualifies and trains several Emirati graduates to post them in RTA. This two-year program ensures the deployment of well-trained and equipped Emiratis capable of playing a role in achieving sustainable development. The program has extra features such as specialist practical training, rewards and incentives offered to inductees who are required to have superior talents,” noted Kazim.

In the same context, Kazim reported that Emiratization of leading posts in RTA amounted to 95.4% and the overall Emiratization of jobs rate had clocked 84.8%. “RTA is always keen on charting out strategic plans for attracting Emirati cadres in a variety of fields through participation in career shows or other recruitment sources.

Dubai Tourism participates to attract future national industry leaders

As part of its ongoing efforts to develop future tourism leaders from among young UAE nationals, Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) will be participating in this year’s Careers UAE, which will be held from 9 – 11 April at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

“We believe that our youth have the potential to make a significant contribution to our organisation, and this exhibition provides us a valuable opportunity to connect with promising local talent and explain to them the various roles and responsibilities they can shoulder as future tourism leaders,” said Ahmad Khalifa Al Falasi, CEO, Corporate Services & Investment, Dubai Tourism.

The Dubai College of Tourism (DCT), established under Dubai Tourism,  also has a stand in Careers UAE to highlight key Emiratisation initiatives including ‘Medyaf’, that aims to attract and train UAE nationals for a future career in the tourism industry, the Emirati Tourist Guide programme, and the initiative of Dubai Summer Surprises, the summer extravaganza run by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of Dubai Tourism, to recruit young UAE nationals as volunteers during DSS 2017. The DCT stand will feature 15 partners of Dubai Tourism representing various sectors including retail, hospitality and entertainment.
