DUBAI 1 July 2019: A firefighter has tragically died while performing his duty and trying to douse a blaze in Dubai.
the death of fireman Tariq Abdullah Al Hawai has been condoled widely.
“I extend my deepest condolences to the family of firefighter Tariq Abdullah Al Hawai, who died on duty while working alongside his civil defense colleagues to extinguish a fire in a building in the Business Bay area,” said Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
“The sacrifices of our civil defense servicemen will remain immortal in the memory of our homeland and Tariq will remain a symbol of self-sacrifice for the security of our country and its people. May Allah have mercy on him and grant patience to his family and loved ones,” he added.
Dubai Civil Defense, Dubai Police and The UAE Ministry of Interior joined in condoling the death of Tariq.
