DUBAI 6 January 2019: Dubai Police has launched a volunteer platform, under which citizens and residents can play the role of ‘Neighbourhood Cops’ and help keep crime down.
Neighborhood Cop initiative links the voice of citizens and residents and the general command of the Dubai Police to monitor problems and work together for solutions.
The platform was launched during an open meeting with volunteers at the Officer’s Club in Dubai.
It is a bridge to together build a safer society. The initiative is aimed at addressing negative and criminal phenomena in society and will contribute towards the reduction of crime rates.
