DUBAI 4 March 2019: Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police and his accompanying delegation, visited the Leonardo factory for helicopters in the Italy, as part of a visit to inspect the new helicopter to be received by Dubai Police.
They were received by Gianfranco Sototti, Executive Vice President of Global Sales for the Middle East and Africa.
The delegation heard a detailed explanation of the UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) industry, how to use it in the field of security and policing as well as simulation systems used to train pilots and learn about the latest developments.
The delegation visited the factory and saw the assembly line and manufacture of helicopters and interior design department, and all stages of manufacturing.
At the end of the visit, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police presented a book of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to Sototiti.
