DUBAI 5 June 2019: The latest part of Dubai that is going to be rejuvenated will be Deira.
There is an ambitious plan to transform the center of the old city – probably the famed Nasr Square – into a plaza – and unsurprisingly that is what the new development will be called – Deira Plaza.
It will be a three-storey structure catering to different activities like gardens (plaza), parking and others – watch video below to get an idea.
The redevelopment will spans an area of 35,000 square meters, said the Dubai Government Media Office.
“Boasting modern designs of shaded urban parks, it seeks to create new spaces for social engagement,” it added.
The plaza is part of the project that features spaces for events, hiking, public rest areas, and multi-storey parking.
