ABU DHABI 7 June 2017: The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), has urged motorists to be cautious, reduce speed and leave enough distance between vehicles because of a dust storm caused by winds.
In a statement on Tuesday, NMCS said over the next two days, the weather will be fair in general, partly cloudy and hazy at times. Some cloud formation is expected over some eastern and southern areas, said Wam.
Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times, maybe blowing dust/sand over some exposed areas by noon time. Temperatures tend to rise gradually.
“The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning times over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog and mist formation, especially westward. Sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea,” the statement added.
The statement added that on Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will be fair in general, partly cloudy and hazy at times. Cloud formation is expected over some eastern and southern areas. Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times. The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning over the coastal and internal areas with a chance of fog and mist formation, especially west wards. Sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
