An Emirati man died after his motorcycle rammed into the rear of a truck in Umm Al Quwain because of excessive speed, according to police.
The unnamed man was riding on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road in the Northern Emirate when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the truck.
Police, quoted by ‘Emarat Alyoum’ daily, said the man died on the spot because of high speed.
“He crashed into the truck because he could not stop his motorcycle due to high speed and his failure to leave enough distance from that vehicle,” a police source said.
