Entrepreneur Master Tool is… your will to succeed

By Theda Muller

DUBAI 24 June 2018: This journey is one that must be won against all odds – if you believe you were born to be an entrepreneur, as most of us who are, know from a very young age.

If you are only going to imagine the glamour, opulent lifestyle, excessive materialism when you hit your first win and you go wild and spend money, then that’s the start of your downward spiral, because there are many sacrifices to be made before you can relax and ‘smell the roses’. Very few entrepreneurs hit the jackpot as it were, being on this journey for a few years and are privileged to embrace early retirement.

If you’re sitting on a fence from a corporate looking in, envying an entrepreneurs success and assuming it’s a walk in the park, think again. The only point you need to think about is, can you survive any one month without your existing salary that arrives like clockwork currently? When you are on this journey there are no such expectations to be taken for granted, because you could find yourself without a salary for many months, if not more than one year.

When you start off on this journey, your only most powerful tool will be your Will to Succeed and to Master that Tool and get yourself into a frenzy heat to overcome any obstacles, regardless of:

  1. Your ongoing prospecting is not yielding any clients, hence no business;
  2. You can’t afford a marketing budget to overcome this problem;
  3. Therefore, you cannot generate sales, so no income, but ongoing expenses piling up, demanding your attention;
  4. You can’t pay all your monthly operational expenses, including staff salaries and then your salary too, so personally you will suffer and have to continually compromise to keep your business afloat;
  5. You’re working very long hard hours, with no progress, which continues to consume all your energy, so you can’t sleep and then you can’t awake on time in the morning, which means no proper planning, strategies, clarity or focus, the outcome, no progress;
  6. Therefore, you don’t have the ability to recreate your business and energize it to start performing again, or even to kick-start your start-up, as this may be a case where you’ve just started your business, invested most of your investment funding, with minimal left, where you cannot generate business;

I am here to assure you that the above situations you find yourself in, is not unique, it is onus to most entrepreneur journeys, but somehow, you must find the will inside of you and continue applying it as a Power Tool, because it is the only force that will make you get up, dust yourself off, lose the pity party attitude and find the right solutions to get your business fully operational, with the right target audience, enough cash-flow and new ideas that you can apply to your business, i.e. Game-Changing strategies which will be aligned to what you were meant to be and therefore, you will find your purpose and passion somewhere along this line, if you simply hold onto your beliefs and lose your limiting beliefs.

I know, it is very demeaning, frustrating, humiliating, frustrating with a dire sense of hopelessness when you find yourself in this situation. Most of the time young entrepreneurs who face this problem especially in the early stages, refused to commission a mentor to help prepare them for this journey, because it seemed an easy task and most of all, you assumed you covered all the basis.

What you don’t know is that when you are looking from the outside in, with no experience, you have no clue what awaits you, it takes a special kind of entrepreneur to persevere under difficult situations, but finally win the game. It also takes times, calls for maturity and a deep understanding of:

  1. Who am I?
  2. What do I really want out of this life?
  3. How can I fulfill my dreams, goals and desires?
  4. What do I really love doing that does not feel like work?
  5. What am I willing to give to succeed? What value am I prepared to put into the market to achieve what I set out to do?
  6. What is my expectation? How much money do I want to make? Be specific about the money, this is key, don’t be doubtful, because then you instill limiting beliefs, so you stop yourself from abundance that was meant for you, not just money.
  7. Am I wiling to serve with humility to achieve my goals?
  8. Am I willing to emerge myself in continuous knowledge and experience, so I can be the best that I was born to be?
  9. Am I willing to learn from others?
  10. Am I willing to learn from my mistakes and continue this journey?

Your attitude towards yourself first, then others will be the winning key to triumph on this journey, because you stand alone if you are the sole owner of your business, so you need to invest in yourself by way of time and money to achieve your personal transformation, because if you want to be successful, you need to learn new habits, you cannot create new with the old.

Reviewing your entire business, it’s future strategy, your involvement as the leader, requires learning to view this from a holistic perspective, not pertaining to religion, but continually saturating yourself with self-love, huge awareness of your thoughts, words and actions, focusing on branding yourself, acting with integrity, diplomacy and respect towards everyone you interact with, but most of all on a daily basis, reaching out to try and touch a life and transforming it, which means, learning to be your authentic self.
