Fifa Club World Cup UAE mascot to be unveiled Tuesday

ABU DHABI 26 June 2017: The official Mascot of the Fifa Club World Cup UAE 2017 will be unveiled to the public by the tournament’s Local Organising Committee (LOC), on Tuesday, 27th June, at Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi.

The Fifa Club World Cup UAE 2017 takes place from 6th- 16th December, and the Yas Mall event will offer football fans a four-day celebration of the beautiful game until 1st July. The Fifa Club World Cup UAE 2017 roadshow, nicknamed ‘Excitement’, will be located on the mall’s ground floor opposite Ferrari World entrance, from 17:00hrs to 18:00hrs.

“We have a lot of exciting surprises for football fans in celebration of Eid,” said Aref Hamad Al Awani, Tournament Director of the LOC. “The Fifa Club World Cup UAE’s four-day festival will have something on offer for everyone, from children who can enjoy meeting the official Mascot for the first time, to adults with a competitive streak who want to measure their football skills at the roadshow.”

The largest and first-of-its-kind mobile roadshow in the region will be open to the public from 12:00hrs to 22:00hs daily, providing visitors with the ideal platform to show off their football skills across 12 different adrenaline-pumping challenges. All participants will have the opportunity to win amazing prizes and join hundreds in welcoming the UAE Mascot.

Football fans can now buy tickets to the pinnacle of club football, the Fifa Club World Cup UAE 2017, on the official website, Fifa.com/uae2017. Seven club champions will come together to contest the sport’s ultimate title as millions around the world tune in to watch.

Real Madrid (Spain), Auckland City (New Zealand), Pachuca (Mexico) and four other champions yet to be decided will come together to compete in eight matches at Zayed Sports City and Hazza bin Zayed stadium.
