Dubai 4 August 2017: Fire ripped through the fifth tallest residential tower in the world – ironically named Torch Tower – again.
Located in Dubai Marina, the tower is about 84+ storeys high. It had caught fire in 2015.
Dubai Civil Defence teams were on the ground. All residents have been safely evacuated and there are no reports of any injuries.
The blaze has been brought under control..
It is not yet clear as to what caused the fire or where the residents are putting up.
