DUBAI 13 March 2018: Global Village will host a live concert by Liam Payne, a platinum recording artist with singles that ranked 3rd on the UK charts and 10th on the Billboard Hot 100.
He will perform for the first time as a solo artist after rising to fame as a member of one of the biggest boy bands in history, One Direction.
The concert will take place on Friday, 30th March starting at 9 pm at the Main Cultural Stage part of Global Village weekly concert series in Season 22.
Concert entry is included in the Dh15 Global Village entry ticket.
Liam Payne has released several singles that got recognized internationally with artists such as Zedd and Rita Ora, with views reaching over 300 million on YouTube. Besides his singing career, Liam is known to be an active member of several charities that aim to empower children and young adults. He is a keen supporter of Unicef, ambassador for Trekstock, and Comic Relief. A rising solo career leads him to multiple nominations and awards in several categories such as The Global Special Awards, Best British Artist or Group at The Global Awards, iHeartRadio Awards and the Brit Awards.
Dragon Mart to host top Persian singer Mansour Jafari
Dragon Mart will present a free, live concert by Persian pop artist Mansour Jafari on 23 March from 7 pm.
Mansour is all set to bring fans a mix of contemporary rock and pop music from his latest album Radical during the concert, which is open to all, free of charge.
A singing sensation in the US, where he is based, Mansour embarked on recording his first album in 1991, a project that took three years to complete.
Mansour has come a long way since then, with his two hit singles Azize Delami and Divooneh captivating fans from as far away as the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Turkey. He has a huge following – among Emiratis and expatriates – in the UAE.
