Gitex Shopper to showcase top 2-in-1 convertibles and laptops

With their functionality, flexibility and mobility, 2–in–1 convertible laptops are one of the fastest growing devices in the industry according to PCMag, and Gitex Shopper will be showcasing the latest models when it opens next month. Taking place from 1 – 8 October at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) the region’s largest consumer IT and electronic show, will offer visitors the widest selection of top brand names under one roof.

So if you’re looking to be converted, Gitex Shopper has this guide to what’s on offer:

HP Spectre 13: Power never looked so thin. HP re-imagined every element during the design of the Spectre to ensure the best user experience coupled with maximum performance. The result is a premium notebook PC that does not require users to compromise on style, function or performance.

HP Pavilion x360: A colourful platform that offers more processor, graphics and display options while continuing to deliver great value to the customer, the Pavilion x360 flips between notebook mode for working, stand mode for watching, tent mode for playing games or tablet mode for on the go.

“Our vision at HP is to create technology that makes life better for everyone, everywhere. It is this vision that has ensured we remain a global leader in personal systems which include convertible laptops,” said Mathew Thomas, Managing Director, Middle East and Saudi Arabia, HP Inc. “Visitors to Gitex Shopper 2016 will find our latest wide range of laptops at the best possible prices.”

Lenovo Yoga 900: One of the best 2-in-1 convertible laptops on the market and considered Lenovo’s best convertible, the Yoga 900 is favoured for simply being portable. The smart hinge allows the laptop screen to flip around 360 degrees so that the display sits flat on the back of the keyboard. The Yoga 900 is also one of the thinnest convertible hybrid window laptops, and to top things off, it is packet with the latest Intel processing power and has a long-lasting battery.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4: If you are looking to ditch your laptop and stick to a tablet, the Surface Pro 4 is for you. A much sleeker and lighter version of the Surface Pro 3, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 comes with a detachable keyboard that allows it to convert from a tablet into a laptop, while its responsive and sensitive touchscreen makes it ideal for any type of work.

Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA: What sets this laptop apart from other 2-in-1 convertible laptops is its price. Asus’s budget friendly laptop offers a mix of cutting-edge and last-generation features. Not only is the TP200 affordable, but it has a metal finish that comes in two colours and weighs only 1.2kgs, while its 360 degree multi gear metal hinge makes it handy and usable as a tablet.

Dell Inspiron 13 7000: Dell’s 13-inch convertible laptop is perfect for those looking for a portable and stylish notebook. The laptop is designed for the ‘real world’ meaning that it can stand harsh, short term heat conditions of up to 65 degrees Celsius. The laptop also comes with a dual hinge that helps flip the screen around to better interact with the programs on the screen, while its functionality is well suited for work, home and everywhere in between.

Samsung Galaxy TabPro S: Featuring a full-sized keyboard and an intuitive touchpad, Samsung’s Galaxy TabPro S allows you to navigate and type documents effortlessly, while the 12-inch widescreen makes it ideal for reading and streaming HD content. What stands out, however, is the keyboard – with keys are significantly bigger than other convertible laptops and a keyboard cover that not only protects the laptop, but also attaches to the rear of the tablet, to create a kickstand.
