Gulf Real Estate Awards 2017 to be revealed on April 17

150 nominations in 21 categories from UAE, KSA, Oman and Qatar

 

DUBAI 7 April 2017: Dubai Land Department (DLD) has announced that the closing ceremony of the Gulf Real Estate Awards 2017 will take place on Monday 17 April in Safinah Ballroom at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel from 7am -10 pm.

The department said it had received 150 nominations in 21 categories from four GCC countries – the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar – by the submission deadline on 14 February 2017.

The high turnout from regional companies to compete in the awards programme demonstrates the redibility, integrity and positive image of Dubai Land Department throughout the region, said Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of Dubai Land Department.

Mahmoud Al Burai, Executive Director of Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI) – the educational arm of Dubai Land Department and the company responsible for the organisation of the awards, said the Gulf Real Estate Awards are based on a number of criteria and key points, including planning, implementation, and results.

Following the closure of nominations, the process of screening and evaluation was initiated by a specialized committee of leading experts in the real estate field. The awards programme helps to drive innovation in this sector and stimulate the creativity and excellence of real estate companies to compete and improve their services and projects to achieve sustainable growth.

Dubai Land Department has established a set of goals for the launch of the Gulf Real Estate Awards, which in particular aim to reward and recognise the GCC’s best real estate companies.

Before closing submissions on 14 February, the Gulf Real Estate Awards were open to any real estate company, whether private or public. The awards programme includes a wide range of 21 categories that allow any ambitious company to present its success story, including real estate developers, brokerage and facility management companies, engineering and legal services, and contractors and consultants.
