Pop music icon wears white ruffled one-piece suit with pearls and crystals
DUBAI 9 April 2019: Global Music Icon Jennifer Lopez chose a white-hot ruffled one-piece suit by Dubai-based fashion house Amato Couture for her latest whimsical-themed music video.
In the video, the artist can be seen in a carnival show inside a transparent glass room as a fortune teller wearing an immaculate white ruffle one-piece ensemble accented with pearls and crystals by Amato Couture’s Filipino-born founder and creative director, Furne One.
The pop music icon’s dress hails from the label’s autumn/winter 2018-19 couture collection and was chosen as the centerpiece outfit for JLO’s music video for her latest single “Medicine.”
After releasing a teaser earlier in the week, J.Lo premiered the full new video Sunday night (April 7) on NBC’s World of Dance and YouTube.
The multi-talented star is depicted as the ring leader of a white monochromatic freak show featuring fortune tellers and a 50-foot cake. Lopez goes from carousel to crystal ball in the video, and even throws in some pole dancing to the horn-tinged track just before French Montana makes his appearance.
Earlier on Sunday, Lopez uploaded an introduction video to what sounds like will be a revamped, personalized YouTube channel. The singer promised content showing “more of Jennifer the person,” from writing songs and preparing for movies to crafting her skincare routine and being a mom.
Lopez — who got engaged to fiancé Alex Rodriguez on March 9 — will embark on her first tour in six years this summer, titled It’s My Party: The Live Celebration, in honor of her 50th birthday.
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in February, Lopez first announced the tour and revealed that the trek will traverse 25 cities across North America, kicking off in Los Angeles.
