Serving with humility

DUBAI 11 July 2018: On any entrepreneurship journey, you cannot survive or sustain yourself and your business and achieve your desired success, if you don’t continue striving to improve the value you put into the market.

Uncommon wealth creators have mastered this art, where some of their new habits to achieve this success, is listed below. This is my advice to you today:

  1. Over-delivering – Build a solid reputation of over-delivering, it will serve you for decades;
  2. No expectations – Give more than you receive, without expecting double value in return;
  3. Relationships are Key – Initiate, establish and continue to nurture all relationships, for referrals which then results in a continuity of business, without you even having to lift a finger. You will find as you progress, the magic just rolls on and on;
  4. Integrity – Operate with integrity, keep your commitment to your clients and if you can’t, inform them beforehand and replace this with a higher value, which means perhaps sacrificing and compromising more, but the outcome will benefit you;
  5. Avoid Offloading – Refrain from complaining about your business or personal problems to your clients, as they are only interested in resolving their own problems, not yours and zapping their energy is NOT a good idea, because they will avoid you like the plague in the future;
  6. Be Authentic – Being authentically you, is the best gift you can give to your clients. The success of securing a client is solely dependent on you convincing them, with integrity, that you have a solution for their immediate problems and then you must deliver with full force and excellent results;
  7. Emergence is Key – Continue emerging yourself in global changing industry trends, sacrifice the time, compromise your social life if you must, because your goal should be to fully prepare to always present more value to your client and you cannot achieve that if your knowledge remains outdated. Age has nothing to do with it, activeness is in the mind, so learn new tools and techniques to keep you on the ball!
  8. Be present – Don’t let your clients feel that they don’t have your full attention, because you only have a few seconds to secure their undivided attention, to present your products or services and secure their initial ‘buy-in’ to give you more of their time, if not, they will show you the door and it’s very hard to gain access again;
  9.  Humility serves – There is no place for arrogance or being obnoxious towards anyone, be it a client, prospective partner or any associate you wish to do business with, because you are not better than anyone else, money does not make you entitled to treat someone badly. Humility is the only emotion that we display, that makes us human to others, where it will be long remembered, because it is rare. Humility is closely linked to serving and when you can serve with humility, the world can be your oyster.
  10. Loving yourself – Master the art of first loving yourself enough, so those who meet you, will enjoy you serving from your saucer of overflow, not your cup, because when you serve from your saucer, the love you put out there is limitless and will come back to you in more ways than you can imagine, especially in business.

Today, with the ongoing global evolution, the required attributes of an entrepreneur are no longer to be focusing on the money, materialism, just being on the take and totally being self-centered and arrogant because you believe you have elevated yourself above the ‘plebs’, as they use to call people a few years ago.

Now, you either shape up and get yourself totally aligned to who you really are, so you can find your purpose and calling for your life and persue that to achieve the desired success, and conform to new ways of achieving, or be satisfied to have a job if you are unwilling to embrace huge change and move out of your comfort zone.

When you learn that you don’t have to ‘sweat’ everything, live in pressure, stress, turmoil, all forms of negative emotions that eventually impact your well-being, rule with an iron fist, because you have the need to be controlling, then you will arrive at the place of understanding, a new level of maturity, live in harmony, peace and happiness in your own mind and therefore cultivate the same environment and attract the right people into your life, you will simply wonder why it took you so long to find the keys to true success.

You will also learn that when you let go, everything falls into place and its not about entrepreneurship or achieving the success, it’s about finding yourself and your place, because only then, is success a natural progression and it will come with ease…
