DUBAI 7 February 2019: The song that captivated millions and continues to rank in the top spots globally, Lady Gaga’s ‘I’ll Never Love Again’ is the newest addition to the repertoire of The Dubai Fountain.
Dubai’s famous tourist attraction in Downtown Dubai will bring a riveting rendition of the song with its song-water-dance performance and several first-time features.
The song’s arrival could not have been at a more opportune time as Lady Gaga has clinched an Oscar and Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress for her performance in A Star is Born, the film that featured the song. The film itself has gone on to win eight Oscar nominations.
For the first time, The Dubai Fountain will deploy the StrobeStars lighting system for the song to deliver a magical effect. It is also the longest song in the fountain’s repertoire at 5:27 minutes. The composition grows slowly before evolving into distinct segments and an explosive finale, and the song’s tempo will be matched by the water spectacle.
For the show, the fountain’s oarsmen shooters will showcase their strongest characteristics. They perform large gracious movements with just a slight offset between nozzles to form patterns such as ribbons in the wind. The result is a graceful water performance offering iconic patterns.
