Egyptian airport authorities arrested a man trying to smuggle a large quantity of contraceptives to Saudi Arabia, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The Egyptian man was about to board a Saudia flight from Cairo to the Western Saudi Red Sea port of Jeddah when he was caught with the pills.
The Saudi daily Sada said the pills were hidden inside bags of date and nuts.
