Mariah Carey kicks off Saadiyat Nights concerts

ABU DHABI 8 January 2024: In a spectacular start to the Saadiyat Nights concert series, Mariah Carey, the record-breaking songbird supreme, mesmerised a packed audience during her performance on 6 January in Abu Dhabi.

Commencing her sold-out show with an electrifying performance of It’s Like That, the multi-Grammy Award-winning sensation continued to captivate the audience throughout the evening with beloved hits like Emotions, Shake It Off, and Hero, engaging with fans and creating an unforgettable and immersive musical experience.

Set in a specially constructed open-air venue with a breathtaking backdrop of Saadiyat Island vistas, the three-month Saadiyat Nights concert series has been carefully curated to bring together a diverse lineup of artists, ensuring an array of captivating experiences over the course of the event, said a statement from Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.

Saadiyat Nights promises many more extraordinary performances to come, featuring the iconic Iranian performer GooGoosh on 20 January, beloved Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli on 27 January, followed by British singer and songwriter Sting on 3 February and the enchanting Lebanese legend Magida El Roumi on 10 February.

Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks. Fans can book their tickets now, starting from Dh200 at ticketmaster.ae.

Saadiyat Nights is hosted by Experience Abu Dhabi in partnership with Miral, Saadiyat Abu Dhabi, and Al Dar.
