
DUBAI 13 September 2018: The Dubai International Club for Marine Sports and the Fujairah International Club for Marine Sports have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with the aim of reinforcing their joint action and ensuring the success of their events, activities and programmes that serve the public’s interests.
The MoU was signed at the headquarters of the Dubai International Club for Marine Sports by Ahmed Ibrahim Mohammed, Vice President of the Emirates Federation for Marine Sports and Executive Director of the Fujairah Club, and Mohammed Abdullah Hareb, Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of the Dubai Club, in the presence of Hazeem Mohammed Al Qamzi, Director of the Sports Section Administration of the Dubai Club, and Mohammed Al Shamsi, Director of Institutional Support, said wam.
Hareb noted that the MoU, which is valid for one year, stipulates joint cooperation in the exchange of expertise and highlights the obligations of both parties.
The MoU aims to promote joint action and reinforce the cooperation between marine clubs around the country, Mohammed added while stressing that the coming period will witness many events that will require cooperation between all parties, especially in Fujairah, which has become the preferred destination for lovers of marine sports after its hosting of many events, such as the World Speed Boat Championship and the International Federation Congress last year.
