Dubai 4 February 2019: Public schools in Dubai and Sharjah have been given a holiday for today (Monday) and tomorrow (Tuesday) by the UAE Ministry of Education.
Private schools have been given a day off on Tuesday, said a statement from the ministry.
No reason have been announced for the school closure. Students are happy while parents are speculating that it could be related to the inclement weather the UAE is facing or the visit of His Holiness Pope Francis.
