Covid Update: 2,526 cases, 1,107 recover, 17 die

ABU DHABI 2 March 2021: ‏The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) conducted 175,033 additional Covid-19 tests, and announced 2,526 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 394,050.

‏MoHAP also announced 17 deaths due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1,238.

‏ The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished patients a speedy and full recovery. It called on all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all.

‏MoHAP also noted that an additional 1,107 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 382,332.

The total number of vaccine doses provided stands at 6,028,417 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 60.95 doses per 100 people.
