ABU DHABI 12 May 2021: The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) conducted 177,688 additional Covid-19 tests and announced 1,614 new cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 539,138.
MoHAP also announced two deaths due to complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1,617.
The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished patients a speedy and full recovery. It called on all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all.
MoHAP also noted that an additional 1,600 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 519,405.
The total number of vaccine doses provided stands at 11,273,344 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 113.98 doses per 100 people.
