DUBAI 28 January 2018: Moombai and Co. has introduced the traditional three-tier lunch box from India.
The new concept takes diners on a journey back to the traditional Irani-Parsi cafes, fusing together the magic of olden day Mumbai with the modern vibrancy of Dubai.
With dine-in; delivery and take-out options – the boxes are served from 12pm until 3pm every weekday.
The traditional Irani-Parsi cafe, Moombai and Co Café and Bar, has introduced a customizable lunch boxes served in an authentic metallic Tiffin Box for eat-in, take-away and delivery. Diners can choose a snack, curry, rice or bread from a wide selection and can also choose the colour of their lunchbox.
Available in Red, Green, Orange and Yellow, these colorful tins bring back fond memories of lunchtime in India.
The snacks (or small bites) options include paneer bhurji (scrambled cottage cheese), onion bhajji, warm lentil salad, kachumber (onion, tomato and cucumber salad) , green salad, egg bhurji (spiced scrambled egg) and murgh malai (tender chicken cooked in clay oven with cheese marinade).
The list of curries and gravies include Yellow Dal, Mushroom Masala, Black Dal, Butter Chicken and Chicken Curry. The box also includes one portion of bread (rotli, roti, naan, paratha) or steam rice. Additional sides or desserts start from just Dh10.
The Tiffin Box lunch is served at Dh45 per box excluding tax.
