SHARJAH 30 September 2018: This week you will see stretch limousines across the emirate of Sharjah, which will screen movies.
The ‘Limo Cinema’ will screen children’s movies in preparation for the sixth edition of the Sharjah International Children’s Film Festival (SICFF).
Funn, the Sharjah-based Media Arts Organization for Youth and Children, has announced that it will screen a series of films this week in selected locations, before the Festival kicks off on October 14, at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre.
As part of its efforts to attract more young viewers, Funn will screen the films inside Limousine vehicles which are equipped with giant screens and high-quality sound systems. The activities will take place in Al Majaz Waterfront from 4-18 October and in Al Zora area from 3-6 October. Movies will be displayed during the Festival in Al Khawaneej, Dubai (last exit) from 9-13 October and at Zero 6 Mall, Sharjah on 17 and 18 October.
The festival will feature 138 films from 31 countries, more than 40 specialized film-making workshops.
