Five-day test match followed by one day international
DUBAI 4 October 2017: Cricket fans in the UAE are in for a treat over the next fortnight as two of the world’s best national teams go head-to-head in Dubai.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka will battle it out at the Dubai International Stadium in a five-day test match series before following it with a one day international (ODI). The ODI will be the first time Pakistan has played the one day game since winning the Champions Trophy in June this year. Pakistan fans will get opportunity to witness their star performers to revive memories of victory in Oval against India earlier this year.
The test match will also be in the sport’s new day-night format – a first for Sri Lanka – with the cricket starting at 3pm before finishing under the lights late in the evening. The series begins on Friday 6 October and will finish on Tuesday 10 October, with ticket prices starting from as low as Dh20.
The players will then have two days’ rest before the ODI game on Friday 13 October, which will also be played in the day-night format starting at 3 pm. Tickets for the ODI at Dubai International Stadium start from Dh50.
Season packages are being introduced for the first time to enjoy both Test Match and ODI matches in one ticket. Season ticket prices starts from Dh90. All tickets can be purchased from Q-tickets.com.
