UAE private sector to enjoy three-day Eid holiday

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has declared a public holiday from Sunday, September 11th, 2016 till Tuesday, September 13th, for private sector employees on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
It added that the employees in private firms will enjoy the three-day paid holiday.
According to Article No. 74 of the Federal Law No.8 of 1980 concerning labour relations, Saqr Ghobash, the Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, declared a three-day holiday, which will cover both occasions, Arafa Day and Eid Al Adha.
The minister congratulated President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Members of Supreme Council, Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates.
Ghobash praised the people of the UAE and the residents on this occasion, wishing the UAE, all Arab and Islamic countries further progress and prosperity.
