ABU DHABI 23 May 2017: The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), has urged motorists to be cautious, reduce speed and leave enough distance between vehicles because of a dust storm caused by active winds.
In a statement on Monday, NMCS said that the weather will be fair in general and partly cloudy at times, said Wam.
Moderate to fresh winds in general, becoming strong at times especially over the sea and causing blowing dust and sand and poor horizontal visibility over exposed areas during daytime, with a gradual drop in temperatures.
The relative humidity will increase by night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog and mist formation, especially over northern areas.
“Seas will be rough to very rough in Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in the sea of Oman,” the statement added.
Tuesday and Wednesday’s conditions are likely to remain similar, with moderate seas on Wednesday.
