DUBAI 21 February 2018: Have you seen or rode on the new air-conditioned ‘abra’ in Dubai? If not, it will be on display at the Dubai International Boat Show in Jumeirah at the entrance of the Dubai Water Canal, starting from Tuesday 27 February up to March 3.

The event is organised by Dubai World Trade Centre. For the 11th year running, Dubai’s Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) is taking part.

“During the event, the RTA will also offer operational services through commuting participants and visitors from Al Habtoor City Marine Transport Station at the Dubai Water Canal to the venue of the event. We will also have a stand for exhibiting key marine transport projects of the RTA, i.e. the newly air-conditioned abra; which reflects RTA’s vision of supporting marine transport means with the latest mobility means and meeting the needs of abra riders,” said Mansour Rahma Al Falasi, Acting Director of RTA’s Marine Transport.

“RTA’s continued participation in this Exhibition is instrumental in keeping abreast of the latest trends & operating systems in use in the manufacturing of marine motors, especially environment-friendly motors. The event will also avail us the opportunity to get acquainted with designers and manufacturers of boats worldwide, and review the best models that help us upgrade our marine services,” he continued.
